Amarillo Woman Indicted For Murder in May Shooting

AMARILLO -- A Potter County grand jury indicts an Amarillo woman for murder.
65-year-old Janice Sicard is accused of shooting and killing 56-year-old Joseph Hamel in early May.
According to court documents, police responded to shots fired at a mobile home near River Road High School.
They found Hamel dead at the scene with a gunshot wound to the chest.
Sicard was at the scene and was arrested.
