Amarillo Police Investigating Saturday Early Morning Personal Robbery

AMARILLO -- Amarillo Police are investigating a personal robbery that occurred On Saturday at 12:20 a.m. at Studio One on the 9000 Triangle.
When officers arrived a customer told them that he was assaulted and robbed while inside the business. The victim stated he was in a room when someone started knocking on the door asking him for money. The suspect continued knocking on the door and eventually forced open the door and demanded money from the victim.
The suspect reached in the pockets of the customer and took an undisclosed amount of money and started walking out.
The victim tried to get his money back but the suspect was hitting the victim repeatedly and continued on out the door.
