By Karl Wehmhoener | firstname.lastname@example.org
AMARILLO -- On Tuesday, the APD COPPS Unit developed information that 23-year-old Allison Nicole Dunlap was in an apartment in the 7200 block of SW 34th.
Officers arrested her on an outstanding warrant for bond forfeiture/possession of a controlled substance. They secured consent to search the apartment. They located about 13.2 grams of what is believed to be methamphetamine and about two ounces of marijuana. Dunlap was booked into the Randall County Jail for the original warrant and for possession of a controlled substance over 4 but less than 200 grams.
During the continued search of the apartment, officers located several identifying documents including credit cards, drivers licenses, social security cards, and a birth certificate. Officers also found multiple checks, photocopies of checks, photocopies of U.S. currency, and a credit card reader. Some of the identification and related items were reported stolen in three different auto burglaries in south and east Amarillo between February 17th and 21st.
Investigators are continuing to try to determine the source of several other documents that were found. Two other people in the apartment were released pending investigation.
