Amarillo Police Arrest One After Police Smell Marijuana in the Air

AMARILLO -- On Wednesday Amarillo Police arrested Christopher Daniel Green, 40, for Manufacture/Delivery of a controlled substance, penalty group 1- over 4 grams but less than 200 grams , possession of marijuana under 2 ounces in a drug free zone, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Amarillo Police used a narcotic search warrant at the 800 block of S. Maryland after Officers smelled the odor of burnt marijuana coming from the residence.
During the search of the residence, officers located approximately 14 grams of crack cocaine, along with 1 ½ ounces of marihuana and drug paraphernalia. The estimated street value on the drugs found was approximately $1,600.
Green was booked into the Potter County Detention Center.
