After all, there are numerous factors — job-market saturation, housing affordability and commuter-friendliness, for instance — to consider about each prospective area.
But the process needn’t be that difficult or intimidating.
To help recent graduates launch their careers in the right place, WalletHub’s analysts compared the 150 largest markets in the U.S. based on 23 key indicators of career-friendliness. The data set ranges from availability of entry-level jobs to monthly average starting salary to housing affordability.
Amarillo came in 33rd overall. The website mentions the 'Professional Opportunities' rank came in 23rd overall but the 'Quality of Life' ranking was only 78 out of 150 cities.
The top city was Salt Lake City, Utah. While the top Texas city was Austin, which came in at number 3.
