The 48th Annual Border Town Days Festival happened July 26th.

The event kicked off with parade that began in Texico, New Mexico and ended in Farwell, Texas.

The parade is the only one in the nation that starts in one state, and ends in another.

Chairman of Border Town Days Rob Pomper says, "it's a great fundraiser for our community and a great fun way to help out a little bit, the folks that really need it."

Attendee Riley Rohrbach says, "it's fun to come out and see all the people and play the games, and stuff."

The parade was followed by fun in the park that included live music, food and drinks.
