Amarillo, Texas -
AMARILLO -- Early Saturday morning, Amarillo Police reponded to a report officers were sent to a narcotics violation taking place in the 2600 block of NW 2nd. The caller advised that the occupants were possible involved in selling illegal drugs.
Prior to officer’s arrival, additional information was that one of the occupants was also involved in making and distributing counterfeit ID’s, and Social Security cards.
As officers arrived they knocked on the door and allowed inside. As officers were identifying all the occupants, they observed narcotic paraphernalia sitting in plain view on a coffee table. The occupants gave officers consent to search the residence. Officers located 28 pieces of identifying information in the form of birth certificates, SS cards and ID’s.
- 41-year-old Loretta Ann Arenas for Fraud use or Possession of Identifying Information (over 10 less than 50), and possession of narcotic paraphernalia;
- 42-year-old James Albert Morelos for Possession of a Controlled Substance, possession of narcotic paraphernalia, and one local municipal court warrant;
- 22-year-old Deanna Tiffany Sherman Fail to Identify (Fugitive Intent to give false name), and 5 local municipal court warrants;
- and 45-year-old Michelle Renee Luna for Possession of a Controlled Substance Penalty Group 1 less than one gram and for possession of narcotic paraphernalia.
All four individuals were booked into the Potter County Correction Center.
