GUYMON -- $500,000 will now be going toward new school transportation in Guymon thanks to a special election.

Voters approved the new school transportation bond by 87-percent.

The money will go toward a new activity, handicap, and two route buses.

One AG pickup and suburban will also be purchased.

Officials say there will be no projected tax increase.

The bond will be paid off in two years.
